Would you like to see one of your pictures on the 2027 Penkhull Calendar?
For the third year the village hall will be publishing a calendar which will be sold to boost funds for the hall.
The calendar has been a big hit and makes a great Christmas gift for friends and family - especially if a photo you've taken features in it! All you need to do is send your favourite picture (taken by you in Penkhull) to the team by email, with your name and a title for the photo. That's it, nothing more to do! This time we'd like to see pictures in the various seasons throughout the year, or featuring particular events like Easter or Halloween. A couple of things to consider:

If there are people in your photo you must ask their permission - the calendars will be sold to the general public.

The calendar format is A4 size and photos MUST be wide (landscape) not tall.

Please only send pictures that all ages will enjoy.

Please send photos saved as JPG or jpeg files.

Send in by midnight on Sunday August 30th.
When you've found your favourite please send to villagehallpenkhull@gmail.com and make the subject 'Photo for calendar.'
Winners will be announced at an event to be held at the village hall on Friday 9th October.

Penkhull Village Hall Community Trust runs the village hall for the community. We do not receive external funding & rely on hire income for day to day running costs & maintenance. As a building of great age the maintenance bills are constant and our team of volunteers are doing a tremendous job on a shoestring budget! Donations are essential to help us to tackle problems that keep emerging like, for example, roof leaks & water damage.
A regular donation reassures us that we have additional income to add to our funds and enable us to plan maintenance to pre-empt potential problems.
A one off donation is also very welcome - it will go into the same pot and be used for maintenance of this very old building when needed.

Penkhull Village Hall Community Trust have published their Annual report for the
most recent financial year (1st November 2024-31st October 2025).
