The next event at the hall...
The entry charge will help to meet costs and any extra will go into the hall funds - Please support your hall!
Roll up! Roll up!
for the Penkhull Summer Fayre on Saturday 8thAugust, 3pm to 7pm in
Penkhull Village Hall. If you don’t plan to be away soaking up the rays in a
far-off land, this will be just what you and the family need for entertainment on
a lovely, hopefully warm and sunny, Sunday afternoon.
Most of the activities will be in and around Penkhull Village Hall but the day will
end with a Grand Parade on the Churchyard.
Among the many activities in the hall during the afternoon will be the opportunity for children to make hats and masks that they can wear for the Grand Parade. But we want as many people as possible to join in so, if you can be with us on the day, whatever your age it would be great if you would dress up – children maybe as your favourite character and the grown-ups – let’s see your favourite or most outrageous outfit!
When you come to the village hall you’ll be entertained by drummers and dancers - fun for all the family! You can browse the quality stalls (dare I say you might find an early Christmas present?) and you’ll find a range of refreshments including pizza and street food.
Tickets are just £6 (children under 14 free but must be accompanied by an adult) and they’re available from the office in the village hall on Tuesdays between 10.30am and 12.30pm, in the Community Café on Thursdays between 9am and 3pm, or you can ring 07926 880370 to arrange collection.
This special day is being run by Penkhull Village Hall volunteers and all profits are going to the hall to help keep it in the best condition we can for our community. If you want to know more about your village hall visit our website penkhullvillagehall.co.uk, or use the QR code here, or just get your ticket and come along on 8th August, have a look round and most especially have a fun time.
We’re looking forward to seeing you!

Please will you make a donation to the Village Hall?
Penkhull Village Hall Community Trust runs the village hall for the community. We do not receive external funding & rely on hire income for day to day running costs & maintenance. As a building of great age the maintenance bills are constant and our team of volunteers are doing a tremendous job on a shoestring budget! Donations are essential to help us to tackle problems that keep emerging like, for example, roof leaks & water damage.
A regular donation reassures us that we have additional income to add to our funds and enable us to plan maintenance to pre-empt potential problems.
A one off donation is also very welcome - it will go into the same pot and be used for maintenance of this very old building when needed.
The hall now has a JUST GIVING page and you can go and have a look and make your donation by clicking...
