Penkhull Village Hall Community Trust runs the village hall for the community. We do not receive external funding & rely on hire income for day to day running costs & maintenance. As a building of great age the maintenance bills are constant and our team of volunteers are doing a tremendous job on a shoestring budget! Donations are essential to help us to tackle problems that keep emerging like, for example, roof leaks & water damage.

 

A regular donation reassures us that we have additional income to add to our funds and enable us to plan maintenance to pre-empt potential problems.

 

A one off donation is also very welcome - it will go into the same pot and be used for maintenance of this very old building when needed.​​

​​​​​If you haven't yet bought your household calendar, the Penkhull Community Calendar 2026 is still available from Penkhull Convenience Store (Newsagents) and Penkhull Hardware, both on Newcastle Lane. All the funds raised from the sale of the calendars will all go back into the care and refurbishment of the village hall.

From Monday 5th January 2026 many of our regular classes and activities will resume - one of these is our weekly community cafe which will be open again on Thursday 8th January from 11am until 2.30pm.
